Irish actor, film director, producer, writer, cultural ambassador Gabriel Byrne won a Golden Globe Award and two Emmy Award nominations for the HBO drama In Treatment (2008–2011). In 2016 he received a Tony nomination for the Broadway revival of “Long Day’s Journey into Night”.

He has appeared in over 35 feature films, including Excalibur (1981), Miller's Crossing (1990), Little Women (1994) The Usual Suspects (1995), End of Days (1999), Spider (2002) and the forthcoming Lies We Tell (2018). He produced the Academy Award–nominated In the Name of the Father (1993).


We are all afraid of annihilation. While we profess this incredible faith, I think that deep down we are all doubting Thomases.
